Healthcare · Technology · Transformation

I work where healthcare, technology and leadership meet.

As a healthcare executive, entrepreneur, advisor and speaker, I combine a medical background with international technology experience and hands-on operational leadership.

From Charité and SAP to leading a private-equity-backed healthcare organization, my focus has never been technology for its own sake. I am interested in how new capabilities translate into better organizations, viable business models and better healthcare.

Experience across three worlds

Healthcare

Healthcare cannot be understood through market models alone.

How does care become better care?

My career started within healthcare delivery itself: at Charité University Hospital and later as Managing Director of an ambulatory healthcare organization with approximately 230 employees across four locations.

I therefore understand healthcare from both a strategic and an operational perspective – from care models and regulation to growth, transformation and day-to-day management.

Technology

Technology is changing healthcare – but not automatically for the better.

How does technology become actual progress?

Ten years in international leadership positions at SAP shaped my understanding of how technology companies, large organizations and regulated markets operate.

As General Manager Public Sector & Healthcare EMEA, I was responsible for sales and consulting across 128 countries and directly led an international team of approximately 280 employees.

Today, my particular focus is artificial intelligence, digital business models and the question of how technological innovation can be deployed responsibly and create measurable value.

Leadership & Transformation

Transformation is not a technology challenge. It is a leadership challenge.

I have built organizations, led companies, developed new business models, managed turnarounds and guided teams through significant change.

The underlying question has remained remarkably consistent:

How does strategy become actual change?

  • Executive Leadership
  • Growth
  • Turnaround
  • Organizational Transformation
  • Post-Merger Integration
  • Governance

Current Focus

Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

Artificial intelligence will change healthcare. The critical question, however, is not only what technology can do.

It is how organizations take responsibility, manage risk, structure decision-making and integrate AI into healthcare delivery and business models.

Through Health AI Assurance, I focus on the practical implementation of responsible AI in healthcare – from governance and regulatory requirements to operational adoption.

Speaking

Technology changes fast. Organizations don’t.

My talks connect healthcare, technology and leadership.

Rather than presenting technology as a futuristic spectacle, I focus on what technological change actually means for organizations, executives and healthcare delivery.

Change usually starts with a conversation.

For executive opportunities, board and advisory mandates, investor engagements, speaking and selected collaborations.
